Yukon River

Yukon, Canada

BRAT paddled the historic Yukon River during the summer of 2013.

The River

The Yukon River stretches nearly 3,000 km from its source in British Columbia, across the entire width of Alaska, before emptying into the Bering Sea. During the Klondike Gold Rush, the river was one of the few transportation routes for gold prospectors and many historic gold rush sites and relics can be viewed along the river today.

The Adventure

Following the route of the Klondike gold rush from White Horse to Dawson City.  Easy and glorious.

Good Times

Living the good life on the Historic River. The river was quiet now with no one seen for days, yet a hundred years before, it was a busy industrial and tourist route.
